A glittering dance extravaganza, FORTY-SECOND STREET is a celebration of Broadway and the hard-working people who create the magic of theater. It follows aspiring chorus girl Peggy Sawyer as she struggles to land her first job in a Broadway show—and not just any show, but the latest musical by larger-than-life producer Julian Marsh. When the star has an accident, Peggy faces a big decision and gets the chance of a lifetime. The score is a feast of titanium-plated hits like You're Getting to Be a Habit with Me, We're In the Money, Lullaby of Broadway, Shuffle Off to Buffalo and of course the rousing, tap-dancing spectacle, Forty-Second Street. • Students: $15 (Friday and Saturday nights only, EXCLUDING Saturday 9/17 Opening Night)
